1. What has been your greatest source of inspiration recently?

A print magazine called Surfer’s Journal, which tells the story of the most beautiful and remote waves in the world through the lens of photographers traveling in the desperate search for the perfect storm.

2. What was the defining moment that made you realize you wanted to be a professional artist?

In 2016, during a surf trip, I also shot a lifestyle project and realized that my passion could turn into a career. From that moment on, I became a professional.

3. If you could collaborate with any artist, living or dead, who would you choose and why?

George Greenough, a Californian pioneer of underwater photography since the early 1960s, when underwater housing technology for shooting in water was in its infancy. His creativity in both his photos and his films is a cornerstone of the field.

4. When you feel creatively blocked, what do you do to regain inspiration?

The only way for me to regain inspiration is to travel, to experience new social fabrics and immerse myself in them. Observing the local people, their habits, the food, the music, and living—even for a short time—in a place different from home and absorbing all of its essence is a unique stimulus.

5. Is there a project or collaboration that has truly reflected your personal passions?

Certainly, the years of collaboration with Sundek as their main photographer allowed me to fully explore surf and travel photography and laid the foundation for my style. During these projects, my passions came together and influenced each other, turning my work into an adventure rather than a duty.
